With his cat-like eyes and dimpled cheek, the young man is often adored by the people around him– especially the elderly. Out of his all-white uniform, Yeuan dresses comfortably in his favorite pair of trousers or sweatpants paired with a loose shirt or a hoodie, together with his favorite white sneakers. He doesn’t wear any fragrances on a daily basis as he prefers the soft and mild scent of fabric softeners.He is often shy around other people, but once in his comfort zone, Yeuan is as hyper as an orange cat. He likes to annoy the people he’s comfortable with and do things out of pure curiosity (e.g., dropping excess titrant and analyte once he reached the endpoint just to see the color change again; putting colored clothes and white clothes just to prove that it won’t stain, which it kinda did).

Yeuan Aluzio, 20, a 2nd year pharmacy student in De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. Born in Guangzhou, China, his family decided to visit his mother’s side of the family in the Philippines for a month when he was 4, which eventually turned to a full migration once he aged 7.Upon living in the Philippines, Yeuan had quite difficulty understanding the language– the implications, slangs, and the constant evolution of words almost every year that he cannot follow. Frustrated with himself, he spoke English most of the time despite understanding Tagalog well. As time passed, he eventually learned to speak and the language, interchangeably using tagalog, chinese, and english at home– sometimes even with close friends.As he enters the year with a newfound strength and courage, Yeuan hopes for nothing but the best– in terms of academics, love, and social life.
